Earthbound Beginnings Ana

Contents.OverviewThe user causes a lightning bolt to strike an opponent for electrical damage. In EarthBound Beginnings characters with the equipped will be resistant to it, while in EarthBound and Mother 3 the will reflect the lightning back at the user.In EarthBound Beginnings PK Thunder can be aimed at any chosen opponent, unlike in its successors. This is also the only game where the Franklin Badge will not reflect the attack, as instead it reflects the lethal γ. Oddly PK Thunder does not have an Ω tier and only goes up to γ, the reason for this is unknown.PK Thunder was completely overhauled in EarthBound and Mother 3: now the move no longer allows the user to choose a target, instead it targets a random opponent with a chance to miss, in Mother 3 its accuracy is noticeably higher than in EarthBound. The accuracy of PK Thunder is higher when more enemies are present.

The number of times PK Thunder strikes increases with each tier: PK Thunder α strikes once, β strikes twice, γ strikes thrice, and Ω strikes four times. PK Rocket inThe player can redirect the ball of lightning to hit themselves and launch them like a missile. This attack has been dubbed by fans as PK Rocket or PK Thunder 2. PK Rocket is Ness and Lucas's main form of in all of the Super Smash Bros.

Games, the attack sends them a very long distance, however due to the startup it can easily be intercepted.DifferencesPK Thunder functions slightly differently for both characters: For Ness it disappears upon hitting a character, however Lucas's doesn't. As a result Lucas's version is much safer as a recovery. Starting with Ness's version will not disappear until the 'tail' fully appears. For PK Rocket, Ness's variant does a single blow with powerful knockback for a useful KOing option, Lucas's instead is a multi hitting attack and sends him a much greater distance than Ness's.CustomsNess has two extra versions of PK Thunder as custom specials in Super Smash Bros.

Ana was born on the day before Christmas Eve, being on the 23th of December, during a snowy night at the church of Snowman (being a chateau in the English prototype). Ana's father, being the pastor of the town, had earlier informed the residents of the town that he would ring the church bell once if the baby that was expected to be born was a boy and twice if it was a girl.

For Nintendo 3DS and Wii U:. Rolling PK Thunder: This version does not last as long and moves slower, PK Rocket also goes a shorter distance. However, it is a very powerful move with a high damage output and knockback, having strong KO potential. Lasting PK Thunder: Instead of disappearing when hitting an opponent, the lightning ball goes through them. PK Rocket is also a multi hitting attack rather than a single blow. It is identical to Lucas's variant, however PK Rocket doesn'ttravel as far in Super Smash Bros. For Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.Because of Lucas's status as a downloadable character, he does not have custom variants of PK Thunder.Gallery GalleryPK Thunder α and β in Mother 3PK Thunder γ and Ω in Mother 3PSI inAttacks.Recovery.Assist.Other.

Starmen.Net EarthBound Zero Walkthrough - Route Summary ROUTE SUMMARYNinten's House. Try to leave your room, and defeat the lamp that attacks. Explore the rooms in your house until you find a doll. Fight it and check it after battle to record the first melody. Go downstairs and talk with your mom. Answer the phone when it rings and chat with your father. He'll tell you about a secret in the locked basement.

Talk with your sisters to get an item and learn about storing items. Exit your house and check your dog. He'll give you the Basement Key. Go back inside and unlock the door. Open the presents to get your Great-Grandfather's Diary (among other things). This isn't particularly useful until later, so store it if you need the extra inventory space.

However, it might be very handy to keep it on you so you don't have to trek back home for it. It's usually good to level up a bit here. Fight things close to home, as your mother will heal you for free. Level up until the hippies, dogs, and Wally aren't huge threats to create a good base for continuing on.Search for Pippi, the Zoo, and Canary Village. Once you're good to go, head southeast until you see a house. Talk with Pippi's mother. Head south to Podunk, and watch out who you talk to in town.

Some residents are Pseudozombies in disguise. South of town is your next stop - the graveyard. Maneuver around the trees and fences to get inside. At the right side of the cemetery is a group of odd graves with a hole amongst them.

Walk over the hole to enter an underground staircase. Follow the stairs down until you enter a room with 4 coffins. Check the far left one to find Pippi. Answer her questions and she'll join your party. Pippi can help immensely with levelling up, so if you want to build some levels, head north of Podunk to the outskirts of the Zoo.

The animals there can be tough, but give better experience than other enemies around Podunk. Once you're satisfied with your strength, go to the Mayor's building in Podunk. He'll reward you for rescuing Pippi and tell you to embark on a quest to save the zoo. Talk with Abbott downstairs to get the Zoo Key.

Go to the store and talk with the man in the pet department. He'll offer to hawk you a canary for $85.

Turn down the offer to get the canary chick for free. Visit Pippi at her house and she'll give you a Franklin Badge. With canary chick and zoo key in hand, walk north of Podunk to the zoo. Approach the monkey at the entrance and it'll steal your Zoo Key. Head east inside the zoo to find an office building. Climb the stairs to the top. Check the capsule to fight a Starman Jr.

This fight might be very simple if it uses PK Beam r while you have a Franklin Badge. Defeating it stops the ear-splitting noise and makes the animals calm down. Exit the building and look for the monkey cage. Bulb boy gameplay. Check the sign and the monkey will sing the second melody. From the entrance to the zoo, walk directly south until you find a bridge.

Keep following the path south. You'll eventually make it to a town with many trees and large canaries. Step to the northernmost part of the town and look for a large white column. Walk behind it and talk to the canary there.

Use the canary chick from your inventory and Laura (the canary) will sing you the third melody. Head back to Podunk for healing (or your GGF's Diary if you don't have it), or if you're fine, back towards the zoo.Magicant. Go to the general entrance area of the zoo and walk east. There you'll find two police members who talk about the curfew and a cave ahead. Follow the path east to the cave.

Enter the cave and use Telepathy PSI on the pink XX Stone. You'll be teleported to Magicant.

Visit the many houses to find useful items and people. There's a lot to do here, so be sure to explore around. Level up outside town, using the house of the man who wants a spoon bent for free healing. There's also a house in the northeast part of the map with Flying Men in it who will aid you in combat. When you're strong, walk to the castle (follow the path of XX spires from town). Talk to the guards.

Use Telepathy on them and you'll gain access to the castle. Inside the castle, plunder the gifts you find. In a specific room are 6 presents. Opening only one will make the others empty, however, so for the best choice, pick the upper left box for the Boomerang. Explore the castle to find Queen Mary. Talk with her about the melodies and leave the castle.

Outside of the castle, walk east and then south to find a collection of wells. Walking on one of them will drop you into a series of blue caves. Follow the staircases right, left, left, right. You'll be in a larger room. You can't awaken the dragon in this room yet, so leave him be for now. Try to go down the grotto you find here to fight a The Fish. When beaten, grab the Onyx Hook in the room it was guarding.

Walk counterclockwise around the main room to find a man guarding the exit. Don't sympathize with him - tell him you'll ignore him and be harsh!. Exit the cave and walk north until you get to Merrysville town.Loid and the Dual Factories. Go to the school in Merrysville. Talk around to people to learn about a kid named Loid. You may get sick from talking with some kids, though.

On the main floor, look in the rightmost room for the Janitor. Talk with about his wife and tea, telling him the value of his wife, and he'll unlock the roof for you. Talk to the trash can to find Loid. Exit the school and head south of Merrysville until you find a factory. Inside the factory, there is a garbage can full of Bottle Rockets. Grab one and bring it back to Loid. Loid will join you and explode the chem lab.

It's best to use the Onyx Hook here to level Loid up a bit. From Merrysville, follow the train tracks north until you find a stone blocking the way. Walk west and follow the long path. You'll find a Pass along the way.

Pick it up and continue. Another factory will come into view with a dog guarding it. Beat it up and go inside. This place is huge! Try to stay to the right as you ascend until you reach the top. Walk left and enter the door at the top left of the factory. Check the rocket.

Go back to the place where the rocks blocked the way and they'll be clear, with a train station north of the spot.Ana, Poltergeists, and Yucca Desert. Buy two tickets to Reindeer. Talk to the woman at Reindeer's station to get the Hat. Buy tickets to Snowman. Be careful around Snowman - the enemies are tough here. Avoid talking to most people, as they have colds and will share. Walk east of town and follow the route to the house of Ana.

Give her the hat and she'll join your party. Use the Onyx Hook again to level her up to a respectable level. Use the train to get to Spookane. In town, talk with people until a woman gives you the Ghost Key. Head north of town to the Rosemary's house and use the key to unlock the door. The rooms are plentiful here, and there seems to be many routes to take that take you to the destination, but for simplicity's sake, take the top door from the room with the mouse and then keep taking the bottom door. You'll eventually come across a piano.

Check it and it'll play the fourth melody. Exit the house and go back to Merrysville. From the station, walk east until you find Yucca Desert. In the middle of the desert is a man with a tank and a plane. Ride the plane and look for an odd cactus. Walk to the cactus and check it out to get the fifth melody. If you want to, save up enough ticket stubs from plane rides until you get to ride the tank.

Take the tank to the large series of rocks to fight R7037 and explore the caves it guarded to get some helpful items. When you're done in the desert, head east and south to find Youngtown.Youngtown, the Swamp, and Ellay. In one of Youngstown's western houses is the house of the Garricksons. Inside is a baby; use Telepathy on him to learn PK Teleport.

Earthbound Beginnings Ana

Head east out of town to get to one of the more difficult parts of the game: the Swamp. Don't feel bad for fleeing battle often, as it is nearly the only means of survival you'll have in this long and arduous area. From the Youngstown exit, follow the twisting paths east, north, east, north, east, north, east, and south.

It may get confusing, but if you wander around, you'll eventually come upon a house. Talk to the garbage can outside and register your name with Loid's dad. Go inside to find Pippi.

She'll give you free healing, so level up here a bit if you'd like. When you're ready to go the last mile, walk south of the house and follow the paths east, then north. Eventually you'll see signs for Ellay, the final town in the game. At Ellay, be careful who you talk to: the Bla Bla Gang is terrorizing the town, and talking with a member starts a battle.

Find the Department Store and buy a show ticket from him. Go to the Live House (the theatre), and pay the Plane/Tank guy from the desert if you totalled his tank. Go inside afterwards. Sing on the stage inside and avoid underage drinking. After your song, the boss of the Bla Bla Gang will challenge Ninten to a fight.

After a few rounds, he'll join your party in place of Loid. You may want to level Teddy up a bit, but his stats grow fast. He can be very helpful in battle.

If you're around level 25, take the party to Magicant. Go to the exit caves and find the dragon once again at the bottom of the caverns. It will awaken and start a fight. If you can beat it, you'll get the sixth melody. If it's too tough, don't feel bad - you can come back later for it.

Teleport back to Ellay and head northeast of the town back into the swamp.Trouble at Mt. Itoi. Follow the path east in the swamp a short distance to come upon a house.

Inside is a doctor that heals you for free and gives Lifeup Creams out like candy. You may want to level a bit here again, as the mountain before you is gruelling. Enter the cave by the doctor's house. You'll find an intricate network of paths inside.

Maps help for creating fast routes outside, but the strongest weapons in the game are in these caverns, so be sure to pick them up. After you manage to find the exit, you'll be on top of a large mountain. Follow the path and climb the vines until you find a house amongst orange trees.

A healer is inside, so be sure to take advantage of the free healing to level up. Walk into the second room of this house. After a few cutscenes, a battle will begin. The purpose of this battle is to lose, so don't waste items and such on it. Loid will rescue you and take you to the healer's house at the bottom of Mt. Loid rejoins your party in place of Teddy.

Go back through the caverns (argh!) and up Mt Itoi again. The healer on the mountain is still a good place to level up.

Follow the paths north until you find a clear lake. Walking to the east side of this lake, you'll find a broken down boat. Loid will fix it and you'll find yourself inside a mysterious underwater lab. There and no foes in here, so continue through the lab. At the end you'll find a large robot named EVE and get a lot of backstory.

Be glad EVE's waterproof, as shortly after she joins your party, the lab is destroyed by water pressure. Now's the time to really level up. While you're confined to a specific area devoid of savepoints and healing, EVE hits VERY hard and can take an infinite amount of damage, making battles easier.

However, don't venture farther south than the lake or too far north up the mountain, or you'll trigger the next event. If you do venture to either of the previously mentioned extremities, you'll find another tough battle against R3078XX, an upgraded version of the robot in the desert and on the lower part of Mt. Itoi. The robot will focus only on EVE, and the two will take each other out. Check EVE's chassis and she'll impart a final bit of help to you: the seventh melody.

Keep walking north and try to stay alive. The enemies are brutal without EVE. At the top, you'll find a gravestone. Check it out and you'll get the eighth melody, then get teleported to Magicant. If you didn't fight the dragon yet, do so now and return to Magicant via the Onyx Hook. Go back to Queen Mary and sing the eight melodies you've gathered to here. After the cutscene, you'll be teleported to the top of Mt.

Itoi. Go into the cave behind the grave and prepare for the final battle!. When you fight Giegue, try your hardest just to stay alive until he stops talking. Then use the new found SING command until the entire string of eight melodies is played out to defeat him. Enjoy the ending! You made it through a very difficult game, so pat yourself on the back and chalk up another brilliant game on your life list!:).
